Life is amazingly simple in my house. Me and the lad.......TV, food, trips out, just utterly simple, zero complications. Two blokes and a female dog who is useless at guarding the house but makes up for it with cuddles.
Trip for Bournemouth game? easy; 10 days, hand luggage. There's a lot to be said for the path of least resistance.

Women are broken, they come out of the box that way.
There is nothing rational about them and they take responsibility for nothing. Try not to kill her, try not to work her out because the rules change daily and then just accept her for who she is.
As long as you accept that you are dealing with an adult woman who thinks they are far more emotionally mature than their partner but are really the same 5 year old girl who will throw a strop when they dont get their way and expect the Alpha in the house to sort every problem forever ....then you will be fine.

Mine gets the hump when we'll be shopping at sainsburys or wherever and she asks 'what do you fancy for dinner tomorrow?'. Like I know what I want to eat 36 hours later. Proper hump ensues for 2 hours over that
